The Penguin

Something I wrote back in 6th .. or 7th .. recalling from memory.. I gave the original away .. yeah .. damn

I was walking down the streets of London,
whistling a note to myself,
I had a muffler and a jacket on
Coz the cold cold weather was there.

I continued walking down the path
Doing my own stuff
Until a penguin started to follow me
On each and every cross

A penguin! A penguin!!
A penguin was following me!
I wonder what you would have done
If a penguin were to follow thee.

I went straight up to a patrolman,
and told him of all this stuff
that a penguin was following me
on each and every cross

That's easy said the patrolman
"Take him to the zoo"
"Thats a great idea", i said,
And did what the patrolman told me to

The next day I was walking down the cross
with the penguin in my arm
and the penguin sat there playfully
As though i had some charm

The patrolman said in surprise
"i thought i told you to take him to the zoo"
"thats exactly what i did
i did what you told me to"

"we went to the zoo alright
and there we had some fun
now we're off to the movies
would you too like to come?"
